Here is a breakdown of where we plan to give money over the course of the next year. This list will vary over the course of the year depending on how much money we get through donations and our fundraisers as well as if we decide other places could better use the funds. This list, as well as how much money ends up going where, will be periodically updated.
  • Research:
-We will be donating money to a variety of institutions that research ARVD or diseases related to ARVD. This includes                              investigating the genes involved in the disease and various medications that may help in lessening the debilitating effects ARVD has on its patients. Institutions that we are planning on donating money for research to are Stanford University, John Hopkins University, and University  of Arizona.
  • Seminars:
-We also intend to put together several seminars this year to disseminate knowledge on ARVD and create a network for sharing              information on ARVD. These seminars would be for cardiologists, regular doctors, patients, and families
of patients. Currently, the plan is to have these seminars alternate between northern and southern California.
